There has been so much debate about which is better, satellite television or cable television. The monthly fee escalates by only ten dollars from one plan to the next. Subscribers who want local channels included will have to pay an additional fee per channel.

Aside from special channels for golf and college football, the Directv deals include the Direct TV NFL Package: the NFL Sunday Ticket will let you select any of the regular season games you want to watch. You can have the same benefits for professional basketball and major league baseball, hockey and soccer.

The option to lease a digital video recorder (DVR) is another significant feature of Directv deals. You will be able to instantly record any program without need to set up a videotape. The DVR gives you the capability to pause a live television broadcast.
