Cork flooring is modern technology at work – it takes the usual cork material that we know and processes it to make cork floors that are both durable and beautiful. Cork flooring comes in cork floor tiles and planks that can be glued onto an existing structure, or they can be floating cork flooring - with self-locking mechanisms like tongue-and-groove that does not require adhesives or other fastening agents.

Because they are made from sustainable and renewable resources, cork flooring is environment-friendly and very affordable. Cork floors are soft on the underfoot because they are sound insulators – they naturally absorb noise and shock. They are also highly antimicrobial and hypoallergenic with good resistance to mold and mildew.

Cork floors are particularly recommended for children’s rooms and play rooms because of their soft and elastic character that can absorb falls and thus protect kids from possible injuries. Natural cork flooring is made from the barks of trees. They lighten and become paler as they are exposed to sunlight, slowly acquiring that dignified patina that only gets better with time.
