Telesales training is a program wherein you are taught the basic skills of telesales or telemarketing. This is where you find out about the ins and outs of telesales. This program enables you to learn the different steps on how you can prepare for your call, get the right information about your client, and convince your client into taking advantage of your offer. This program will also guide you on how to probe for information about your client, how to become conversational in your sales pitch, how to build good rapport with your client.

Telesales training most of the time consist of three parts: Language Training, Country Culture and Geography, and Product Knowledge.

Language training is usually first in Telesales Training . It is to be able to familiarize you with the proper words to use, how to react, how to answer questions and rebutt rejections, proper greetings and word pronunciation and the like. It is to help you sound more or less like your client: professional yet conversational.

The second in Telesales Training Country Culture and Geography. It is about the country you will be calling. You have to familiarize yourself with the way your client thinks to be able to find his sweet spot and close the call. This is also to be able to relate yourself with your client and be able to feel for their sentiments and the joys.

And the third is on Product knowledge. This is the most important part of Telesales Training. It is to familiarize yourself with the product you'd be selling. Nobody wants to be lied to. So, to be able to give the right information and be able to know the strengths and weaknesses in your product, you have to undergo Product Knowledge Training. This is also to be able to help you learn how to build up your product's strengths and mask the weaknesses.
