If you are out of high school, living in the state of Texas and inclined towards the arts, you do not need to go farther to find the right college for you. Among the design schools in Texas, the only one recognized by the Art Institutes, a network of thirty-two schools in metropolitan areas is The Art Institute of Houston. Houston is known as a port for the Gulf of Mexico because of its location. The Houston Space Center which is under the helm of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration is also located in Houston. In terms of the Art Institute of Houston design courses, you can take a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree or Associate of Applied Science degree in Graphic Design.
