Airplane charters are an exclusive enclave of the rich and famous, because they are the only ones who can afford the high cost private plane charters.

Airplane charters operate on a per hour basis for short term arrangements, or you can arrange for an aircraft lease agreement if you will be traveling frequently and prefer to have a plane at your beck and call. If you will be traveling by air most of the time, you can save more on an aircraft lease agreement than having to charter a plane as the need arises.

While airplane charters are considerably more expensive, it does have decided benefits over your standard air travel. There are people who are willing to pay for the privacy and convenience that private airplane charters provide.

FLIGHT CONTROL

When you avail of private plane charters, you have control over the entire aspect of your flight. You can set your destination, set what time you want to leave, specify the airport you want to use, and choose the party you want to travel with. There are no long lines and baggage check-ins.

If you can afford to charter a plane on a regular basis in the first place, then why not buy one instead? Well for one, taking care of an airplane can be a logistic headache. You have to have a hanger where you can safely keep your plane while on the ground, you have to maintain employees to address the upkeep of the plane, you have to make your own pilot arrangements, etc.

In light of all these, you may end up saving more on airplane charters, because you can use the plane on a need basis, and you do not have to concern yourself with the maintenance of the plane once you are done using it. With airplane charters, you pay for the aircraft use, but not for its maintenance.
