A synthetic lawn, as the term suggests, is basically artificial grass professionally installed on a pre determined area for beautification purposes or landscaping and in some aspects, for use in recreational sports like those found in golf course greens.

Synthetic lawns are practical solutions for those who have little or no time at all to spare on the tedious process involved to maintain natural grass because it is chemically and scientifically manufactured to look genuine; thus, it would perfectly blend in any environment, be it outdoors or indoors.

A synthetic lawn is hassle free because you will not have to worry about when you will have time to extract the weeds growing around it or whether you have watered it too much or too little and if it has been getting just the right amount of sunlight. Artificial grass is green the whole year through.

It is also definitely less costly because you will not have to spend outrageous fees for landscape and garden maintenance services. Artificial grass does not need to be watered every single day or any day at all thus doing away with the inevitable increase in your monthly utility bill.

You can even have perfect green grass surrounding your backyard swimming pool without the risk of exposing it to harsh chemicals used for the pool water treatment that may eventually cause the grass to wither and then die. Have children or pets? No problem. You can let them run wild and free because just like the real thing, artificial grass is soft.

Quick and Easy Installation

The process begins by excavating the determined area to remove existing terrain or landscape and to reroute irrigation. A four-inch base of compacted decomposed granite replaces the dugout sod normally. This is so because the natural components of granite can easily let rain or any liquid element that happens to fall on the area to just drain through. Next, an artificial turf is rolled over the granite fill. The fibers are brushed with sand and rubber so that they rise in position to resemble natural grass.
