European Rail is a company often mistaken for providing Eurail timetables or for a place to obtain Eurail tickets. This is not the case: while Eurail also provides train services, European rail is a travel agency that recommends European train travel services, and sells tickets to the public who go on business or leisure trips.

European Rail has journeys from London going to Germany, Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Poland, and the Netherlands and to countries as far as Russia. Eurail train schedules on the other hand, cover most of the countries above as well as Sweden and Luxembourg. Another rail system covers the United Kingdom, Scotland and Wales.

European Rail Ltd has a fully electronic ticket system and accepts bookings from overseas clients through online bookings, and purchased tickets are sent via reputable couriers.

European Rail's offices are located in the center of London to make it easy for people to make last minute ticket purchases. They give their travelers the freedom to choose their routes and European Rail consultants in turn, recommend the best fares and options available using the variety of train networks available around Europe.

Using the train eliminates having to take a stressful flight to the country of your choice. Not only is rail travel much cheaper, you eliminate having to wait in long queues to check in for your flight, looking for a parking space in a big airport terminal and at times spend more time in plane travel due to stopovers in between.

If you travel on first class, meetings can be set up in a semi private area of the train on journeys ending in France or if using Eurostar trains.

European Rail recommends trains that have a restaurant car or meals served at your seat. Many also have facilities for changing their babies, and a children's playroom to entertain kids who get bored due to the possible long journey.
