If you feel like you need one more credit card, perhaps you can consider applying for a US Air Visa card.

The US Air Visa, along with Alaska airlines visa and Hawaiian airlines visa, is a co-branded card. In this co-branded card, the airline enters into partnership with a bank, which actually issues the card. The partner bank is identified in the promotional material for this airline credit card.

There are three different US Air Visa cards that you can consider: signature, platinum and classic.

A US Air Visa Signature card entitles you to preferred privileges for check-in and boarding on US Air flights, and preferred travel program benefits that include automatic upgrades at certain hotels. In addition, you earn the usual miles, at one mile per dollar of purchases using your US Air Visa card. You will get zero percent APR on purchases and balance transfers during the six-month introductory period.

With a US Air Visa Platinum Plus card, you get the chance to earn an unlimited number of miles. You earn one dividend-mile for every dollar purchase, and double miles on your purchases of US Air goods. The airline will give you gift certificates equivalent to two companion tickets, for every year of membership in the US Air Visa platinum plus card. You are also entitled to zero percent APR on purchases and balance transfers for six months.

The US Air Visa Classic card allows you a fixed 1.9 percent introductory APR on purchases and balance transfers. Your credit line will be at a lower maximum but that is probably all you will ever need. You can earn only up to fifty thousand miles per year (at one mile per dollar purchase), but you will get automatic travel accident insurance and rental car insurance for common carrier purchases and rentals charged to your US Air Visa card.
