A business jet charter is the preferred mode of transportation by big companies, especially when they are going to a trade show, convention, or a team-building event. Similar to having your own bus, a business jet charter is just much more convenient, even more so when you are traveling with a group.

When you charter a private jet, you get the convenience of being able to set the rules of your flight. You can determine the time and date of your departure, as well as choose which airport to use. If your company is near an airport, then you can simply have all of your employees to go to your office and all of you will go to the airport at the same time. If you have a business jet charter, you will not suffer through long lines and checking in of bags.

BUY OR RENT

If your company can well afford to charter a private jet on a regular basis, it means that it can very well afford to buy a plane of its own. However, the logistics of keeping and maintaining your own plane can be very demanding. You have to have your own hangar, or rent one, you have to hire mechanics to keep the plane in tip-top shape, you have to spend on wages, airplane fuel, etc.

Compare this with getting charter plane services: all you have to pay for is the actual use of the plane. Everything else that the plane needs is taken care of by the mother company. All you have to do is provide the flight information and arrive at the airport on time. It should be smooth sailing from there.

So even if you can afford to buy your own plane, to charter a private jet is sometimes the better choice.
