Another advantage is that a full color printing using dye-sublimation lasts longer and is resistant to fade because the application of heat allows the ink to permeate and integrate with the printing paper. This makes it highly ideal for digital image printing or photo printing.

Of course, inkjet is still viable for other printing jobs like those not requiring high levels of detail or clarity like pamphlet printing and card printing. Also, the pixel effect can be considered a design or effect that may be effective in some products or merchandise.
