At the end of the program, you are given a certificate and a transcript.

Microsoft certification provides a lot of benefits. The major advantage is that some employers prefer Microsoft certified employees. The website provides access to Microsoft product information, discounts on certain products and subscription to special online and offline IT magazines. You may also be invited to Microsoft training courses and conferences.

The only weakness of the MCP program is that it only deals with the Microsoft operating system. Some operating systems also offer their own specialized programs similar to MCP.
