In warehouses or factories, palletizers are commonly used. Palletizers are extraordinary machines used to load a number of items on a pallet. Palletizers are employed to perform what human labor cannot.

Although using human palletizers is a resourceful and flexible way of packing, palletizers are used to economize time and effort. All you have to do in warehouse or factory is to determine the maximum allowable stacking height of your load on a pallet.

Hence, a palletizer or palletizers are used to carry heavier load that normal human labor cannot sustain.

Palletizers come in several forms and sizes. There are the high level palletizers, low level palletizers, bulk palletizers, or robotic palletizers.

High level palletizers lift products that are as high as a pallet with maximum height and then place these products on a bed like structure. A pallet is then lifted to the height of the bed like structure while the products are swept to the pallet.

For low level palletizers, products that are lower and on a floor level are lifted and placed on a pallet. Low level palletizers are also called fixed level palletizers.

In bulk palletizers, products do not necessarily need to be placed in their cases. These products are just placed in an area and then this bulk will be lifted swept onto a pallet. A grooved sheet of metal is usually placed between layers to provide steadiness. Hence, there is no need to even place these products, like cans, into protective shrink wrap bags or bubble wrap bags.

Products are segregated into their respective pallets by robotic palletizers. These palletizers are robotic in the sense that they can perform several functions at different planes at the same time. Thus, these palletizers are capable of operating or rotating from one point and moving in several directions.
