SELF ADMISSION

If you are drowning in debt, being able to face the harsh facts and admit to yourself that I am in debt is the first thing towards solving your financial problems.

The phrase I am in debt is actually a statement of ownership. Once you tell yourself that I am in debt, it means that you have began to accept responsibility for how you arrived in that situation in the first place. After all, you are drowning in debt not because someone else put you there. You are drowning in debt because of the bad financial choices that you have made.

In a sense, when you say I am in debt, what you are actually doing is coming to terms with your personal reality. After this self admission that you are indeed drowning in debt, you can then proceed to make plans as to how to go about managing your debt obligations without having to make extreme sacrifices.

ADMIT THEN SOLVE

Once you have made the difficult admission of saying that I am in debt, then that is the only time that you can start asking for help and create a strategy for paying and closing all your financial duties. Upon the admission that you are in debt, you take ownership of your situation and of your problem. And more importantly, you take ownership of the problem as well.

Once the ownership of the debt has been established, then you will get a sense of empowerment. You are in debt because of your own making, but you can save yourself from this situation as well. All that is needed is the resolve and the proper guidance from the right organizations. After this grueling soul searching you can then approach the proper agencies that can best assist you with your debt woes.
