Depressive symptoms of bipolar I disorder include: fatigue or loss of energy, suicidal or dark thoughts, too much sleep or inability to sleep, anxiety, anger, inability to concentrate, prolonged sadness or irritability, feelings of worthlessness or guilt and inability to feel pleasure.

Bipolar disorder treatment
There is no known cure for bipolar I disorder. However, bipolar I disorder treatment can help individuals control and mange their symptoms and stabilize their moods. Persons with bipolar I disorders together with their family and medical professionals can develop a treatment plan which will include medication and counseling for both the individual suffering from bipolar I disorder as well as his family. These treatment plans are closely monitored and improved or changed over the course of time.
