Aerosmith is perceived as one of the biggest names in rock music history. A mixture of Kiss and the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith’s music has appealed to rock music lovers of all ages and even up to the present, Aerosmith concert tours continue to sell out.

Aerosmith got their first big break in the 70s after the release of their first album with the hit single Dream On. This led to the first Aerosmith concert tour was also in 1973 to promote Dream On. Since then, the band has been unstoppable and to date has recorded its share of successful Aerosmith concert tours worldwide.

Some of the most memorable Aerosmith concert tours include the Live Bootleg Aerosmith Concert Tour in 1978 wherein the band bailed out a number of fans in Fort Wayne, Indiana who were detained for smoking pot at the show. The 1987 Aerosmith Concert Tour dubbed Permanent Vacation also stands out; this was the bands first tour after undergoing drug rehabilitation.

The Nine Lives Tour from 1997-1999 was the longest Aerosmith Concert Tour ever wherein the band toured Europe, Japan and North America on several legs. The length of the tour was largely due to the success of the hit I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing, the live anthology of A Little South of Sanity, and delays due to injuries on Joey Kramer and Steven Tyler.

Other notable Aerosmith Concert tours include Aerosmith Express in June 1977 to August 1978, Get A Grip in June 1993 to December 1994, Girls of Summer in August to December of 2002 and Route of All Evil in September to December of 2006.

Aerosmith concert tours have not lost their appeal with front row concert tickets still getting sold out in a frenzy. Sales for the likes of david gray concert tickets, neil diamond concerts or paul weller concerts are no match for Aerosmith concert tour tickets sales.

After 37 years of rockin’ and rollin’, Aerosmith Concert Tours are still one of the most attended with the band able to maintain their success, appeal and popularity.
