The Tampa Bay Builders Association is a business organization made up of community leaders whose goal is to afford better homes, economic opportunities, jobs and education for the future of Tampa Bay Florida. Tampa Bay Builders is considered one of the largest building organizations in Florida which represents a cross-section of the industry.

Established in 1946, Tampa Bay Builders is dedicated to realizing the dream of home ownership in America by providing important services aimed at enhancing the building industry in the Tampa Bay region. Tampa Bay Builders is affiliated with the Florida Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders.

Tampa Bay Builders monitors and is actively involved in all city and county governments in the region and lobbies local and state government legislation and officials who represent the building industry’s stand on a number of regulatory issues. These include matters on land use, building and development regulations, fees and Hometown Democracy. The National Association of Home Builders then represents these interests in Washington DC through its lobbying team. The Tampa Bay Builders is comprised of developers, business contractors, builders, suppliers, engineers, financial institutions, attorneys, title companies and other businesses related to the building industry who volunteer their time serving the various needs of the organization. These include monthly meetings, educational seminars and programs, networking events, insurance programs and involvement in the various committees among others.

The highlight of the Tampa Bay Builders activities is the parade of homes which happens during spring and fall. The Tampa Bay Builders' parade of homes features 135 new house models using the latest technology and trends from 75 different building companies.
