Why Rent Watercraft?

There are many reasons why you should just rent instead of buy your own watercraft.

The cost of buying your own watercraft may be too restrictive for your budget. Depending on the model or type, watercraft can cost as much as a car or even a small house. You also need to buy fuel, cleaning agents, tools, spare parts and even watercraft insurance.

You also need to maintain your watercraft regularly by checking the body and the engine, just as you do with a motor vehicle.

And unless you live right next to the dock or have your own, bringing your watercraft to the lake or beach requires tremendous effort. You need a trailer with wheels to contain the watercraft, and a good strong motor vehicle to pull the trailer along as you travel to the recreational spot. Afterwards, you need a boat lift to unload the watercraft onto the water.

And this is not all. After getting back home, you still need to clean out your watercraft inside and out, and to store it properly where it will not be damaged by sun or rain.

Convenient Watercraft Rentals

By contrast, you can just book for your vessel with on-site companies that offer watercraft rentals.

Companies that have watercraft rentals usually limit their operations to several recreational spots. Sometimes they work hand in hand with other watercraft rentals, especially during peak months.

You can rent jet skis, ski boats or even party boats for as low as under a hundred dollars per hour. The fees already include related equipment, instruction materials, and best of all, unlimited fuel. Ski boat rentals already include the water skis, ski vests and rope. At additional charge, you can also rent knee boards and inner tubes.

At the end of the rental period, all you need to do is to return the watercraft to the company. You don't need to worry about refueling or cleaning the watercraft.

Types of Watercraft Rentals

There is a wide variety of watercraft that you can rent, depending on the number of users and the purpose.

You can rent jet skis or waverunners that can seat up to two people. These are great for high-speed fun riding around the lake.

You can also rent water ski and pontoon boats which can accommodate about ten people. Pontoon boats are great for fishing or simply for relaxing under the sun.

For big groups of up to fifty people, you can also rent a party boat with a double deck, accompanied by an experienced driver. The party boat is big enough to put food counters and tables.

Finding the Right Watercraft Rentals

You can look up sites that offer watercraft rentals for specific areas, and book directly with them.

You can also look up watercraft rentals in classified ads of Watercraft World or other boating magazines.
