If you need an aircraft for your business but lack the funds to purchase your own, leasing an aircraft is a viable option. You won't need an aircraft purchase agreement, just an aircraft lease agreement.

The aircraft lease agreement should state that the aircraft is purchased by the lessor and that the lessee is just renting the aircraft. The aircraft lease contract should make clear the agreements regarding the aircraft charter.

The term, rent and payment should be clearly detailed in the aircraft lease agreement. The aircraft lease agreement should detail the length or term the lessee can rent the aircraft, the amount of the rent for the aircraft charter and the mode and method of payment including the due dates.

The aircraft lease agreement should also state in detail who will be responsible in paying government obligations like taxes and fees. The aircraft charter agreement must also include details on rent adjustments if any.

When entering an aircraft charter agreement, you should check for the provisions in the delivery of the vehicle. You have to make sure that the aircraft lease agreement clearly states fair use and operations of the aircraft.

Check if the aviation contracts explain provisions on the limitations of where you can use the aircraft. You wouldn't want to take an airplane to another continent if the aircraft lease agreement states that you can only use it in the US.

You have to make sure that any aviation contracts you sign states clearly who will be responsible for the maintenance of the vehicle. Insurance should not last on your list when reviewing an aircraft lease agreement. Damage to the aircraft you're renting can be very costly for you in the future if you don't carefully examine the contents of the aircraft lease agreement before signing it.
