For the test of lawn sprinkler systems you have to fill the pipes with water. It is advisable to wait with the attachment of the sprinkler heads until after the test. If there is no leakage at the joints of the sprinkler system installation you can attach the sprinkler heads and make a function test of them. If everything is ok, fill back the soil.

For more comfort you can apply lawn irrigation systems with an automatic timer. This will help especially when you are on vacations or you are very often not at home. Inground irrigation systems are not to see since they are underground, there will be only green and fresh grass.
