Leads are the lifeblood of any sales career. If you don't have enough leads, you wouldn't expect to close as much sales. One of the quickest way to get those valuable contacts is to purchase leads and there are several companies that offer lead generation services. The problem is you can't be sure if purchase lead you use are quality leads.

In sales training, they teach that quality is just as important if not more important than quantity. This is true for the purchase lead that you use. There is a way to make sure that the leads you get are quality and not just good in quantity. One is to make the payment method determined in part by the ratio of the closed sale. Not everyone will agree with this one. Some will complain that the leads might be good but the salespeople might make some mistakes.

The truth is, salespeople are more than eager to close sales and will do everything they can to a close a deal. So the company where you purchase leads don't have to worry that you won't take care of the leads. The problem that arises is how to monitor closed sales over those that weren't closed.

The sales company and the lead generation company must agree with a specified metric and a way to verify closed sales. They can set up a verification team that will call the clients to make sure that the purchase was indeed closed. This helps both the company where you purchase lead and your sales company.

It should be as simple as calling the leads that were forwarded to the sales team to verify if a deal was closed or not. Another issue that might come up is, why can't the lead generation company close the deal themselves. Arrangements can be made for such a deal. It depends on the capabilities of the parties involved.
