What every salesperson needs to learn first is convince himself or herself that he is promoting a good product. Think about it. That is why most people think that a salesperson is a sweet talking individual who tries to steal your money by promoting useless products. If you are to succeed at sales, you have to get rid of this notion yourself first. You shouldn't feel guilty for helping other people If you think a product won't benefit the customer, then don't promote it.
